Aspects of God

God is Merciful, Romans 9:15-16 MERCY- The judge sees what you have done, see’s your heart is now repentant. So the judge decides to let you go without death or jail. “Pay this fine & get out of here”. Getting a little better than you immediately deserve through goodness of the person’s kind heart. Us not getting what we do truly deserved.
God is Gracious, Psalm 145:8 GRACE- The judge sees what you has done, forgives & removes the charges against you through adopting you as his own son to replace the son that he has lost. You are now his heir. Getting what we absolutely don’t deserve. This completely comes from the power of someone else.
God is Transcendent (beyond), 2 Chronicles 2:6, Isaiah 55:8-9
God is Holy (Set Apart), Revelation 4:8
God is Glorious, Habakkuk 3:4, Isaiah 43:7
God is Light, Isaiah 60:19 Attribute Of Light; James 1:17 “Father Of Lights”.
God is Invisible but Colossians 1:15 revealed through Jesus, God hiding full face because we will die in our current sin state since Gen. 3, Exodus 33:20.

Names & Titles Have Power & Meaning
God (GK. Theos) our Father meaning: Position of close Father, God’s family ties to us, into our lives Romans 1:7.
Aramaic “Papa, Abba” Mar. 14:36, Rom. 8:15, Gal. 4:6
Heb. “Father, Ab (Awb)” 2 Sa. 7:14
Koine Gk. “Father, Pater” 2 Cor. 6:18.
The Gk. “Lord, Kyrios” Mat 20:30: Position Title- saying “Your Master”, which requires our choice submission to- Gen. 1:1 “Elohim Lord”. “Master, Gk. Epistates” title of ‘under one set in a position’- superintendent/overseer, Luk 5:5.
Gk. “Bridegroom, Nymphios” Rev 18:23 Jesus Groom with us Christians as the cells of the Bride.
Gk. “Jesus, Iēsous” means ‘Heb. YHWH is salvation’. Jesus is the Koine Greek variant of Heb. name “Joshua, Yᵊhôšûaʿ” (Yeh-ho-shoo’-ah) Matthew 1:1.
Gk. Christ, Christos is a title declaring “anointed one” which is the Koine Greek term for the Hebrew phrase “Messiah” Matthew 1:1. The promised virgin birthed one set apart to conquer the sin separation between us & God, Gen. 3:15 .
Heb. Messiah, Māšîaḥ “Anointed, Anointed One” Daniel 9:25.
Word order is important as well in the Bible:
Gk. “Jesus Christ, Iēsous Christos” Ephesians 1:1 meaning: “God saves through the Messiah” shown here- ‘Jesus is the Savior’ title…
VS. a reposition of words “Christ Jesus, Christos Iēsous” Ephesians 1:2 displaying Jesus Messiah duty having been fulfilled- the Messiah who is Jesus, ‘He is the one who saves’ phrase.
Christophany
Titles are occasionally used in declaration of Jesus’ Christophany appearances of Himself in the Old Testament, a type of Theophany (appearance of God).
“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about Me”, John 5:39 with Jesus’ John 1:18 purpose to make God known.
Heb. The Angel of YHWH (the LORD), Mal’āḵh YHWH (I Am Who I Am) – in other words, ‘I Am able to be whoever/whatever you need Me to be for you’, Exodus 3:2–6 (Notice Timeframe Establishing Israel The Nation With Needs-thinking of their lacks & needs that must be met).
